Behind the Project

Rugby Her Way is a new innovative programme for women and girls to access rugby. By launching the programme with this video, Wellington Rugby wanted to show their acknowledgement of the importance of providing a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for all women and girls. Therefore there are a large range of thoughts about rugby shared in the video, coming from a range of individuals with different backgrounds, ages, ethnicities and experiences.

The video was shot in our very own studio here at THE WAY headquarters. It was an interview-style shoot, with the best quotes cut together to make the final result. Above is a 30 second version of our full extended video.
